Tarkill Aquaculture — located between East and West Point by the cut-thru where Tarkill Creek meets Chesapeake Bay — was founded in 2008 after 7 years of experimenting with oyster aquaculture. Owner Gerry Negley and Farm Manager Bob Boardman represent more than 55 years of combined experience in aquaculture… and a lot more just mucking around. 

The farm is comprised of 55 acres of Chesapeake Bay bottom land in two coves that are separated by McKinney’s Island.
